Since 1989, everything at Illum has revolved around the power of good (artificial) light.
In 2021, Merel Roozen took over from her father Antoon Roozen, who led the company for many years. That handover continued not only a business, but also a passion for the craft built up over the years. The knowledge, experience and personal commitment that have defined Illum for decades still form the basis of every collaboration. From that trusted foundation, Illum continues to evolve, with a contemporary vision on light, architecture and interiors. Always with the same goal: creating spaces where light makes the difference.
